Your shop as your website
Your shop can be your whole website. Next to your events it shows pages like About us, Getting here or Renting the venue, a blog, and a menu over all of it. Everything wears your shop’s look, on a laptop and on a phone, and your program is always up to date because it comes straight from your ticketing.
You find it under Website in the dashboard.
Pages
The Website page shows all your pages as they look right now, small, starting with your home page. For a new one, choose New page: describe it in a few words for the AI, move your old website over, or pick a template. Each template shows the page as it will look before you create it, in your look and filled with what your shop already knows:
- About us: your about text, your cover picture, your gallery and your next events.
- Getting here: the venues of your next events with map, address and directions.
- Contact: a contact form and your venue.
- FAQ: your questions and answers, and a contact form for anything else.
- Blank page: an empty page.
Every page opens in the editor: on the left the page and its blocks, on the right your real page. Changes save by themselves, and the page on the right follows every change and scrolls to it. Switch to the phone view at the top to see it as your visitors do on their phones.
Blocks
A page is made of blocks you add, fill in and drag into order:
| Block | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Text | A heading and text. |
| About us | Your shop’s about text, as your event pages show it. |
| Picture and text | A picture beside a heading, text and a button. |
| Picture | One picture across the page, with a caption. |
| Gallery | Pictures to browse. |
| Events | Your next events, or the ones you choose, with their tickets. |
| Past events | The way to the events that were. |
| Questions & answers | Questions that open their answers. |
| Venue and directions | A venue with its address, a map and the way there. |
| Contact form | A form whose messages reach you by email. |
| Newsletter sign-up | Visitors sign up with a confirmation email, as at checkout (with email marketing). |
| Blog posts | Your newest posts. |
| Banner | One button on your accent color: the thing you most want visitors to do. |
| Quote | Something someone said about you. |
| Video | A YouTube video. |
| Embed | A player, map or form from another site: Spotify, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, Google Maps, Typeform or any page. Paste its address or its embed code. It loads only once a visitor allows it. |
| Own code | Your own HTML, CSS and JavaScript, such as your logo in 3D with three.js or an animation with GSAP. It runs in a box of its own beside the page, so it can’t reach your checkout or send anything anywhere. Its links open in your shop when a visitor clicks them, so a 3D scene can lead to the tickets. |
Each block keeps every look readable, so you never need to think about colors or sizes. A block that still lacks what it shows, like a picture block without a picture, stays off the page until it has it.
Publishing
A new page is a draft that only you see. Publish puts it online at its own address, like your-shop.usetix.io/about-us, and into the menu. Until a page has been online, its address follows its title; you can also write your own.
Your home page
Your home page is what most visitors see first, and it is made of blocks like every page. On top sits its hero: your name or logo, your tagline, your cover picture and up to three figures such as guests per night, laid out by your look. Below it, the blocks are yours to arrange: your upcoming events, your gallery, your about text, your questions and answers and your past events, plus any block a page can have, such as a banner, a quote, a video or a section the AI designs. Drag them into order, add new ones or take some out.
Your gallery, about text and questions stay your shop’s own: change them in their block, and your event pages show the change too. Open the home page from its card under Website; like every page, it saves by itself beside your real home page, which follows every change.
Design
Website → Design shows your home page in your look, with the way into the look studio. Your brand is there too: accent color, logo and cover image. They also dress your emails, Wallet pass and PDF ticket, which you can preview from there.
The menu
The menu sits at the top of every page and again in the footer. On a phone it opens from a button. Until you change it, it follows your shop: your events, your published pages, and the blog once there’s a post. Under Website → Menu you can rename entries, drag them into order, take some out, and add your past events, your vouchers or a link elsewhere, like your merch shop.
The blog
Under Website → Blog you write posts: news, a look back at last night, the lineup of the next one. A post has a title, a teaser, a picture and its text, and you can name events it’s about: their tickets then show right under the post. Publish now or plan a day ahead with the clock button. Your blog has its own page, an RSS feed for readers, and with email marketing on, Send as newsletter turns a post into a newsletter draft.
Usetix’s AI
With the AI on for your shop:
- Describe a page in a few words, for example “a page about renting our venue for private parties, with a contact form”. The AI writes it from the blocks above, with your venues, events, questions and pictures, and opens it in the editor.
- Describe a section in the editor, and the AI designs a block of its own for that page. It’s checked for accessibility before it shows.
- Write a post from a few words or about one of your events. Ahead of an event it makes people want to come; after one it looks back, with the night’s photos.
The AI never invents facts like prices or opening hours. Everything it writes starts as a draft for you to check.
Moving your old website
Under Website → New page, choose Move a website over, enter the address of your old website and choose Move it over. Usetix reads up to 20 of its pages and moves them over as drafts, in your look: pages become pages made of blocks with their texts and pictures, news and articles become blog posts that keep their date, and what your shop shows already (your events, imprint, privacy policy) isn’t copied. The main pages wait in the menu until you publish them, and every old address gets a redirect to its new page, so links and search rankings keep working.
Your domain
Point your domain’s www to your shop under Settings → General (custom domain), as described there. If your registrar can forward the bare domain (your-club.com) to www, turn that on too. Your email stays where it is; only the website moves.
Redirects
Under Website → Redirects, every old address leads permanently to its new page: /about.html to /about-us, for example. Each shows how often it is still visited, so you see which old links still bring people. You can add, change and remove them.
Search engines
Each page and post has its own title and description for search engines, and your shop has a sitemap at /sitemap.xml, which its robots.txt names. Posts tell search engines that they are articles.
Privacy
The privacy policy Usetix writes for your shop covers the contact form, the newsletter sign-up, maps and the sites your pages embed as soon as a published page has them. Embedded content loads only after a visitor’s click; your own code and the libraries it uses come from your shop, never from another site. Contact messages go to your support address by email; Usetix doesn’t keep them.
