# Usetix > AI-powered event ticketing platform. Flat €1 per ticket. No setup fees, no monthly fees. ## What is Usetix? Usetix is an end-to-end event commerce and operations platform for promoters, organizers, and venues. It combines a branded ticket shop, complex inventory and reserved seating, promoter programs, gift vouchers, payments, customer self-service, event-day tools, live analytics, marketing attribution, built-in email marketing, and programmable automation in one system. Usetix is AI-native rather than merely AI-assisted: the built-in organizer agent can operate the same account capabilities exposed through the dashboard, and external agents can connect through the hosted OAuth-secured MCP server. A complete Admin API, signed webhooks, and an open-source Go CLI cover integrations and automation outside the chat interface. Usetix is built and operated by Screen Island GmbH in Germany. Ticket revenue goes directly to the organizer's connected Stripe or PayPal account; Usetix does not hold ticket proceeds. ## Key Features ### Commerce and customer experience - **Branded hosted shop**: Launch a responsive, conversion-focused ticket shop with shop copy, legal pages, FAQs, event media, and an optional custom domain. Its look combines six themes (light, dark, paper, midnight, and two tinted by the accent color), an accent color, and a heading and a body font from a library of 35 self-hosted fonts; nothing is loaded from Google Fonts. - **Look studio and event looks**: The look studio previews every theme, color and font choice live on the real shop, on desktop or phone, with a dice for random combinations; nothing is saved until Save, and the preview records no tracking and allows no checkout. Each event can override the theme, event color and fonts for its event page, embed, seat selection and lounges; the event color also applies to its PDF ticket and Wallet pass, and the flyer's dominant color is suggested. Co-organizers can style their assigned events; the shop's look stays with the venue. The AI assistant and MCP can set both looks from a description of the mood, and the Admin API reads and updates them as JSON. - **Stripe and PayPal payments**: Accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and supported local payment methods. Buyers can pay by direct debit through PayPal, or through Klarna once the organizer turns it on in their Stripe account; either way the payment is confirmed right away. Ticket revenue goes directly to the organizer's connected provider account. - **Persistent multi-event cart**: Buyers can combine tickets from several events and gift vouchers for several recipients in one cart and one checkout. - **Gift vouchers**: Sell fixed, flexible, or promotional bonus value such as pay EUR 50 and receive EUR 75. Deliver immediately, later, or to the buyer via email, branded PDF, private link, and Apple Wallet. Support partial balances, multiple vouchers per order, mixed Stripe or PayPal payments, refunds, imports, exports, blocking, adjustments, and an immutable ledger. - **Customer self-service**: Passwordless customer access to every visible purchase, ticket, order, invoice, cancellation document, voucher, Wallet pass, and private download, plus event-answer completion before its deadline and contact and consent management. - **Custom checkout questions**: Ask per order or attendee, let buyers complete required details after purchase until a deadline up to the event start, and export current answers to CSV. - **Flexible checkout fees**: Let the organizer absorb the Usetix fee or pass it to buyers, combine fixed and percentage fees, and override account defaults per event. - **Promo codes**: Percentage or fixed discounts with account or event scope, total limits, per-customer limits, and shareable prefilled links. - **Tax and invoices**: Country VAT defaults, event overrides, B2B billing data, customer invoices, platform invoices, cancellation documents, stable numbering, and downloadable PDFs. - **Multi-currency**: Operate a shop in EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, or CAD, derived from and locked to the connected payment setup once orders exist. - **Usetix Credit**: One prepaid balance for Usetix services, with manual and automatic top-ups, low-balance reminders and an immutable usage history; used for PayPal platform fees, event emails and lounge booking fees. ### Ticketing, seating, and fulfillment - **Flexible ticket types**: Standard and group tickets with attendee-level admissions, pricing, stock, color, visibility, descriptions, images, and drag-and-drop ordering. - **Scheduled drops and hidden tickets**: Start and stop sales automatically, show a countdown on the event page, hand off early-bird tiers, or sell secret VIP and friends-and-family offers through unguessable links. - **Purchase and capacity controls**: Per-order and per-customer limits, companion rules, shared event-capacity ceilings, stock tracking, reservations, and safe release after abandoned checkout. - **Reserved seating**: Build reusable venue maps and seating-plan variants with levels, sections, rows, seats, tables, standing areas, walls, doors, and exits. Import images or PDFs with reviewable AI extraction, publish revisions, map categories to tickets, block places, and let buyers choose exact seats. - **Seat operations**: Exchange seats after purchase, keep place claims consistent, support seated guest lists, and update ticket fulfillment without overselling. - **Designable Wallet tickets**: Customize the colors and artwork of a signed Apple Wallet pass that Google Wallet can import. Existing Apple Wallet passes update when event details, venue, seat assignment, validity, redemption, cancellation, or design changes. - **Designable PDF tickets**: Customize colors, banners, sponsor artwork, sponsor placement, arrival instructions, and optional price display while preserving QR validity and invoice totals. - **Private post-purchase downloads**: Attach protected files to events and expose them only through the buyer's completed order. - **Performer lineups and sponsor media**: Publish artist profiles, photos, social links, timeslots, headliners, banners, and logos across event pages and ticket designs. ### Operations and event day - **Lounge bookings**: Venue lounges per event with group sizes and minimum spend, confirmed on request or instantly. A fee per confirmed booking (by default 8 in the account currency before VAT) is charged from Usetix Credit at confirmation and is not refunded for cancellations or no-shows. Minimum spend is paid at the venue; admission is separate. - **Shared tasks**: Live Kanban with Open, In progress and Done columns. Optional event links, assignments, due dates, rich descriptions, comments, private files, keyboard controls and archives. Co-organizers are limited to assigned events. The assistant, MCP, Admin API and CLI manage the same board. - **Customer CRM and orders**: Search, filter, inspect, export, archive, cancel, and refund orders; keep a factual email, call, meeting, and note timeline; and follow up on buyers with missing required event answers from one account-wide workspace. - **Guest-list signup links**: Share several links per event, each with its own ticket, optional internal name, confirmation mode and quota, for a short account-free form. Name and email are always asked; each link sets company, phone and companions' names to hidden, optional or required and can ask the event's order-level checkout questions, which carry over to the issued guest party. Each email address signs up once per event; guests get their own signup page to see their status, resend their tickets and add companions up to the link's maximum. Confirm immediately or review requests, including added companions, and approve with one click; guests receive QR tickets for the existing guest list and scanner. Pending requests reserve no places, and link capacity and real inventory are enforced. The Admin API, assistant, MCP and CLI expose the same configuration and approval queue. - **Guest lists**: Create complimentary named admissions for general-admission and seated events, reserve real inventory, search by name at the door, add walk-ins, cancel a party or admission, and move seats. - **QR scanning**: Use the browser scanner or the native Usetix Scanner app for iPhone, iPad and Android. See ticket status and color instantly, cache event data, record scans offline, and synchronize redemption attempts safely. - **Refund orchestration**: Full and partial refunds through Stripe or PayPal, correct ticket and inventory restoration, voucher-funded restoration, cancellation documents, and idempotent provider-webhook handling. - **Promoter programs and dashboards**: Set discount and events once per program and give each promoter an organizer-chosen personal promo code, including 0% codes that only track sales. Invite promoters or let them apply through a public signup link with your own questions. Promoters see only their own links, QR codes, tickets and refund-adjusted revenue. Organizers see an overview with tickets and revenue through promoters, their share of all tickets and the top promoters, compare results by event and period, and manage programs through the dashboard, Admin API, CLI, assistant and MCP. No promoter commissions or automatic payouts. - **Team roles and co-organizers**: Manage owner, manager, scanner, and external co-organizer memberships. Invite external organizers from an event, assign selected events, and share the venue’s existing shop and payment setup. The same event access applies to the dashboard, AI assistant, MCP, personal API tokens, and CLI; the venue retains shop, payment, and team settings. - **Event duplication and reusable venues**: Reuse events, venues, spaces, seating plans, ticket structures, FAQs, checkout questions, performers, and media instead of rebuilding recurring productions. ### Analytics, growth, and distribution - **Co-organizer sale notifications**: The bell and optional browser push report ticket counts and event names for currently assigned events only, once per order. Mixed orders omit other events, vouchers and whole-order amounts. Links open the event order list or assigned event list. Removed access also stops pending pushes. - **Co-organizer analytics**: Historical reports and Live View cover only current assigned events, combined or individually. Mixed-order revenue includes only those events; personal tokens and the AI assistant/MCP use the same boundary. Public report-link management remains with the venue. - **Full analytics dashboard**: Revenue, orders, conversion, funnel, top events, traffic sources, campaigns, devices, locations, measurement coverage, and consent-aware customer journeys. - **Live View**: Watch active visitors, checkouts, orders, revenue today, and coarse locations update in real time for the whole account or one event. - **Shareable analytics**: Create expiring, revocable, read-only report links and PDF reports for partners, sponsors, artists, and clients with fixed event and period scope. - **First-party attribution**: Capture UTM parameters and `ref` links on bookings without requiring a cookie banner, then surface attribution in orders, analytics, exports, API responses, and webhooks. - **Tracking-pixel integrations**: Consent-gated GA4, Google Ads, standalone Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel with ecommerce events. Meta-enabled accounts can also use server-side Conversions API delivery. - **Ticket and directory embeds**: Add one event's ticket box or the complete upcoming public event directory to another website with an iframe while keeping checkout and fulfillment on Usetix. - **Meta ads and social publishing beta**: Enabled accounts can connect Meta, propose and approve campaigns, preview spend, pause or resume delivery, refresh insights, and schedule or publish Facebook and Instagram posts. ### Email marketing - **Email campaigns on ticket data**: Organizers write marketing emails to their own buyers directly in Usetix, without exporting contacts to a separate email tool. Campaigns move through four steps (recipients, subject, content, send) and can be sent immediately or scheduled. Test emails come first; after confirmation, recipients, subject and content are locked. - **Dynamic segments**: 22 rules combine purchases by event or ticket, check-ins, venues attended, artists seen, upcoming tickets, order count, total spend, first and last purchase, city, postal code, country, promo codes used, gift vouchers bought, checkout answers, marketing status, other segments, and campaign activity (received, opened, clicked, purchased). Segments store rules, not lists: every count, preview and send uses current data, so new buyers join automatically. Cancelled tickets and refunded orders do not count as purchases. - **Templates and looks**: 17 templates in four groups (thank-you and community, selling tickets, anticipation and stories, discounts and vouchers) and five looks with their own art direction: Classic, Night (club flyer), Poster (framed Swiss poster), Letter (paper, book type, signature) and Elegant (magazine with Didot). Every look is built around the organizer's accent color; Classic and Letter follow the reader's dark mode. Organizers can save their own templates and set a standard look with sender, sign-off and photo. - **Personalization**: Per-recipient placeholders for first name, last event title and date, events attended, city and discount, with fallback text (`{{ tag | fallback }}`). First names ignore titles and fix all-lowercase or all-uppercase names. Sections include title image with eyebrow and accent highlight, promo code, event, button, signature and social links. - **AI-written campaigns**: The Usetix assistant creates a campaign draft from one sentence, choosing template, look and segment and writing the copy. Quick actions make an email more personal, suggest subjects, find recipients, explain results and plan follow-ups. The same tools are available through MCP in ChatGPT and Claude and through the Admin API. Nothing is sent without the organizer's confirmation. - **Results and attribution**: Each campaign reports delivery, opens, clicks, orders and revenue, with a timeline, link performance, recipients and one-click follow-up segments. An order counts for at most one campaign: through its campaign link, otherwise the last clicked campaign within five days, so campaign revenue adds up to dashboard revenue. - **Consent and deliverability**: Marketing consent is double opt-in: ticking the box at checkout, on the shop account page or on a promoter's guest list sends a confirmation email, and only its link subscribes; each step stores the exact wording and language. There is no existing-customer exception. Every email has one-click unsubscribe; teams can record objections from phone or email on the customer page, or send the confirmation email to a contact who asks for newsletters. Hard bounces go on a global suppression list, and failed sends are never charged. Sending requires a legal notice (imprint) on the account. - **Price**: 2 cents per delivered email, paid from Usetix Credit. No monthly fee and no subscriber tiers. Credit is reserved when a campaign is confirmed and charged only for delivered emails. - **Languages**: Templates in English, German (informal and formal), French, Spanish and Portuguese. ### AI, API, and automation - **AI organizer assistant**: Create, update, duplicate, publish, list, or unlist events; manage shared tasks, tickets, seating, venues, performers, FAQs, checkout questions, customer follow-ups, email campaigns and marketing segments, sponsors, guest lists, promo codes, vouchers, refunds, orders, analytics, advertising, social posts, legal pages, shop settings, shop and event looks, and account setup through natural conversation. High-impact and monetary changes require explicit confirmation. - **Hosted MCP server**: Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or another MCP client through OAuth with separate read and write scopes. MCP uses the same organizer tool catalog and account permissions as the built-in assistant. - **Admin API**: Account-scoped bearer tokens expose the real dashboard resources as JSON on stable, versionless URLs. Read and write permissions are separate; IDs are opaque and money and timestamps use documented formats. - **Open-source CLI**: Typed workflows for shared tasks, events, orders, analytics publications, vouchers, imports, delivery retries, and other common jobs, plus direct access to every Admin API endpoint. Stable JSON is designed for scripts and coding agents. - **Personal co-organizer webhooks**: Manage membership-owned endpoints in the dashboard or Admin API. Deliveries follow current event assignments and omit whole-order financial/payment data and order links. Personal API tokens manage only their own membership’s endpoints. - **Signed webhooks**: Durable, retried, HMAC-signed events for orders, refunds, ticket redemption, event changes, vouchers, and more, with delivery inspection and retry controls. - **n8n, Zapier and Make**: The `n8n-nodes-usetix` community node is published on npm for self-hosted n8n. It manages events, order lookup, guest parties and promo codes and subscribes to sixteen order, event, check-in and voucher notifications through an account API token. Zapier and Make apps are installable by invite link from the guides. HubSpot, Notion, Google Sheets and custom systems connect through webhooks, the API, MCP or the CLI. ### Trust and platform foundations - **Passwordless security**: Organizers and their teams sign in with email magic links or phishing-resistant passkeys using Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or hardware security keys. Customers sign in with an email link. - **Scoped credentials**: Separate API tokens, OAuth MCP grants, scanner-device tokens, team roles, and revocable public analytics links minimize access. - **Privacy-aware analytics**: Consent categories gate session analytics and external marketing tags; aggregate sales measurements remain explainable even when visitors decline analytics. - **Data protection**: Usetix is operated by a German company, stores application data in Germany, and includes account cancellation, retention, and deletion workflows designed for GDPR obligations and outstanding financial liabilities. - **Five interface languages**: English, German, Portuguese, French, and Spanish across the public shop and marketing experience. - **Accessibility**: The ticket shop is built toward WCAG 2.2 AA and checked with automated axe-core tests in light and dark themes on phones and desktops. Every page names itself and takes focus at its heading after navigation, cart changes and totals are announced, seat maps are one tab stop with arrow-key movement, each seat names its price class beside the map too, the free seats can be chosen from a list by row instead, and there is a best-available-seats option, held seats warn a minute ahead and can be extended, checkout errors are tied to their fields, there is no captcha or password, contrast holds for any accent color and in Windows contrast themes, choosing tickets and checkout work without JavaScript, organizers can describe their images, including pictures in descriptions, with an optional AI suggestion, every PDF (tickets, vouchers, invoices, exports) passes veraPDF's PDF/UA-1 checks, a payment that ran out on the provider's page can be tried again in one click, the standard legal texts come in the shop's language, and order emails come as plain text too. The public accessibility statement under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) rates the shops as partially accessible and lists the remaining gaps, such as the 30-minute payment window on the payment provider's page, images the organizer has not described and contrast themes not yet tested on Windows devices: https://www.usetix.io/accessibility/ ## Pricing - **€1 per sold ticket** (or $1 outside Europe), flat fee, net - **No setup fees** - **No monthly fees** - **Free tickets are free**: no charge for free ticket types - **Email marketing**: 2 cents per delivered email from Usetix Credit, no monthly fee - **Organizer's choice**: absorb the Usetix fee or pass it to buyers - Stripe or PayPal processing fees apply and are shown at checkout ## Ideal Use Cases - Concerts and live music events - Club nights and DJ events - Festivals and multi-day events - Conferences and workshops - Community events and meetups - Private events with exclusive access - Recurring event series ## How It Works 1. Sign up for free at app.usetix.io 2. Open the AI assistant and describe your event 3. Review the generated event page with ticket types 4. Publish and share your event link 5.
