This page lists every cookie and every browser storage entry Usetix uses, split by the three places you meet Usetix: this website, organizers' ticket shops, and the Usetix app for organizers, promoters and entry staff. What else we do with your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
In short
- usetix.io sets no cookies and does not measure visits.
- Without consent, ticket shops only use what makes the cart, seat reservations, sign-in and protection against abuse work.
- Audience measurement and advertising pixels only run if an organizer switches them on in their shop and you agree.
Legal basis
Cookies and storage entries without which a service you explicitly use would not work are set without consent (section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). We process the data in them to handle your order or sign-in (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to run the service securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Everything else only with your consent (section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time for the future.
1. This website (usetix.io)
This website sets no cookies, does not measure visits and loads no third-party content; we serve fonts and scripts ourselves. Your browser only stores what you set yourself:

If you open the hidden game in the page footer, it creates storage for saved games (IndexedDB /userfs). Until you open it, the page loads none of it.
2. Ticket shops
Ticket shops run at an address like name.usetix.io or at an organizer's own domain. The organizer is responsible; we run the shop on their behalf. Which of the following entries a shop uses is also described in the privacy policy in the shop's footer.

Without consent, we count page views without a cookie and without an IP address: we only store the page, the website you came from, and campaign parameters from the link.
Usetix analytics (with consent)
Helps the organizer understand shop visits and checkout. The data stays with Usetix.

Marketing measurement (with consent)
Only if the organizer has connected Google, Meta or TikTok to their shop. These providers then receive page, checkout and purchase data as well as browser identifiers; the Meta Conversions API can include hashed contact details. The providers' cookies are set by the providers' scripts, and the providers determine how long they last.

Changing your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Privacy preferences” in the shop's footer. If you withdraw, we delete the Usetix analytics identifiers, unlink earlier visits from your browser and withdraw reports to the advertising providers that have not been processed yet.
Payment and embedded content
- Stripe: To pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment methods, we redirect you to Stripe's payment page. Only there does Stripe set its own cookies, among other things to prevent fraud.
- PayPal: If the shop offers PayPal, the checkout page loads PayPal's buttons. PayPal receives your IP address and browser data and may set cookies in its own context.
- Videos: If the organizer has embedded a YouTube video, it loads from youtube-nocookie.com, the privacy-enhanced mode.
- Maps: The confirmation of a table booking can show a map from Apple Maps.
Embedded ticket shops
If an organizer embeds their shop in their own website, the embedded window shows no consent banner and uses no optional cookies. For payment, the shop opens in the full window.
3. Usetix app for organizers, promoters and entry
Organizers and their team, promoters and entry staff sign in at app.usetix.io. All entries are strictly necessary or store a setting you make yourself.

For push notifications and entry without a network connection, the app registers a service worker in your browser.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can view, delete and block cookies and stored website data in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart, checkout and sign-in stop working.
