Product update
See who changed what in your account
Someone changed the price of the early-bird ticket. A refund went out that nobody remembers. A webhook went quiet. When several people, a Zapier zap and an AI assistant work in the same account, “who did that?” is a fair question. Until now, Usetix couldn’t answer it. The new activity log can.
Who did what, and how
Open Settings → Activity. Every entry says who acted, what they did and when: Lena changed the price of Early Bird (Neon Nights) from EUR 10.00 to EUR 12.00. If it didn’t happen in the dashboard, the entry names the channel: the assistant, an AI app through MCP, the Admin API or an automation such as Zapier, n8n or Make. A change through an account-wide API token shows the token’s name, never a person who didn’t make it.
Narrow the log to one person, one period or one area: Team & access, Events & tickets, Sales & money, Account settings or Usetix support.
What it records
- Team & access: invitations, roles, members removed or archived, the events a co-organizer works on, API tokens, webhooks, automations, AI apps and scanner devices
- Events & tickets: events created, changed (which fields), published, archived and deleted; ticket prices old and new, stock, visibility and stopped sales
- Sales & money: refunds, cancelled bookings and tickets, guest list entries, seat changes, promo codes, vouchers, Stripe and PayPal
- Account settings: your shop’s domain, legal texts and a scheduled deletion
A refund is recorded the moment someone asks for it, with the person who clicked, not later when the payment provider confirms it.
Usetix support, in the open
When you ask us for help, Usetix support can open your account. Every visit already appeared under Settings → Usetix support. Now it also appears in the activity log, and so does every change support makes, marked as Usetix support. Support can read the log too: what changed, and who changed it, is usually where help starts.
As little data as it takes
An activity log is about people, so we built it to need as little about them as possible:
- No IP addresses, no browser details and no ticket buyers’ contact details. Orders appear only by their order number.
- Names aren’t stored in the log. They are read from the person’s login when you look, so a deleted login leaves no name behind.
- Only owners, managers and Usetix support see the log. It isn’t available through the API, MCP or the assistant.
- It records changes, not sign-ins, page views or working hours. It’s for tracing a change, not for watching your team.
- Entries are deleted after 12 months.
Also new: sign-ins end after 90 days without use
A sign-in now ends when its browser hasn’t been used for 90 days, and its IP address and browser details are deleted. If you work in Usetix every week, you won’t notice. If you return to a browser after a long break, sign in again with a magic link or your passkey. Records of AI app tool calls are now deleted after 90 days as well.
The details are in our privacy policy. Open Settings → Activity to see what happened in your account.
