Product update
Your ticket shop is now your whole website
Most organizers run two things side by side: a ticket shop, and a website someone built years ago. The program on it is out of date within weeks, the login sits with someone who left long ago, and anyone who wants a ticket clicks through to a shop that looks nothing like it.
From today, it can all be one thing. Usetix now has a complete CMS built in: pages, a blog, a menu, redirects and your own domain, all in the look of your shop and all in the same place as your tickets. Your program can’t go out of date there, because it comes straight from your ticketing.
You’ll find it under Website in the dashboard.
Pages made of blocks
A page is made of blocks you add, fill in and drag into order: text, pictures, a gallery, your events with their tickets, questions and answers, your venue with a map and directions, a contact form, a newsletter sign-up, your latest posts, a banner, a quote, a video, or a player from Spotify, SoundCloud or Vimeo. Your real page sits beside the editor and follows every change, on a laptop or a phone, and everything saves by itself.
Templates for About us, Getting here, Contact and FAQ show you the finished page before you create it, in your look and filled with what your shop already knows. Your home page works the same way now: your hero on top, and below it the blocks you choose, in the order you choose. The menu over all of it follows your shop until you arrange it yourself.
Every block stays readable in every look, so you never have to think about font sizes or contrast.
Describe it, and the AI builds it
Write “a page about renting our venue for private parties, with a contact form”, and the AI makes it from those same blocks, with your venues, events, questions and pictures. Ask for a post about your next event, and it makes people want to come. Ask for one the morning after, and it looks back with the night’s photos. It never invents facts like prices or opening hours, and pages and posts start as drafts for you to check.
The AI can design the whole shop too. In the look studio, the AI designer takes a sentence, your flyers and your website and proposes three complete looks: colors, fonts, the shape of cards and buttons, the layout of your home page and event pages. Try them on your real shop, ask for changes in your own words, and go back to any earlier look in its history.
Need something no block does? Ask for a section: a manifesto, a lineup teaser, your next three events as a poster wall. The AI writes it with your real events, and Usetix checks each one in a browser, on a desktop and a phone, against WCAG 2.2 AA before it shows. A section that moves, in 3D or with animation, runs in a box of its own beside the page.
Bring your old website with you
Under Website → New page, choose Move a website over and enter its address. Usetix reads up to 20 of its pages and brings them over as drafts in your look: pages become pages, news and articles become blog posts that keep their date, and what your shop shows anyway, like your events or your imprint, stays behind. The main pages wait in the menu until you publish them.
Every old address gets a redirect to its new page, so links and search rankings keep working. Under Website → Redirects, you see how often each one is still visited.
When you’re happy, point your domain’s www to your shop. Your email stays where it is; only the website moves.
A blog that sells tickets
Under Website → Blog you write news, a look back at last night or the lineup of the next one. Name the events a post is about, and their tickets sit right under it. Publish now or plan a day ahead. Your blog has an RSS feed, search engines learn that your posts are articles, and with email marketing on, Send as newsletter turns a post into a newsletter draft in one click.
And if you want to go further
The Own code block takes your own HTML, CSS and JavaScript, such as your logo in 3D with three.js or an animation with GSAP. It runs in a box of its own beside the page, so it can’t reach your checkout or send anything anywhere.
The Usetix assistant can write and publish pages and posts or move your old website over when you ask it to, and developers find pages, blocks, posts, the menu and redirects in the API.
What a website needs is already there
- Search engines: every page and post has its own title and description, and your shop has a sitemap.
- Privacy: embedded players load only after a visitor’s click, and what you write in your own code loads nothing from other sites. If you use the privacy policy Usetix writes for you, it covers your contact form, newsletter sign-up, maps and embeds as soon as a published page has them. Contact messages reach you by email; Usetix doesn’t keep them.
- Numbers: your shop analytics now counts your pages, your blog and your posts too.
Your shop looks the way it did yesterday until you change something. When you’re ready, open Website in your dashboard. The guide walks you through it, and the look guide covers the AI designer.
