Crew news
Crew news is a short message from your team to your promoters, part of Promoter +. It reaches every active promoter with an active code in a running program: as a push on each device where they turned on pushes in the promoter app, and on the app’s start tab, which shows the latest three messages of the past 30 days. Send it to the whole crew (guest lists and ticket sales alike) or to one promoter program.
POST /admin/promoter_announcements
Requires an account write token. Personal co-organizer tokens receive 403 Forbidden: crew news is written by the venue’s team. Without Promoter + the endpoint returns 404.
curl -X POST \
-H "Authorization: Bearer your-token-here" \
-H "Accept: application/json" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"promoter_announcement": {"title": "Doors at 10", "body": "Free shots for your guests until 11.", "promoter_program_id": "PROGRAM_PUBLIC_ID"}}' \

body |
Required, up to 500 characters. Line breaks are kept. The push shows the first 180 characters. |

Response (201 Created):
{
"public_id": "ANNOUNCEMENT_PUBLIC_ID",
"kind": "message",
"title": "Doors at 10",
"body": "Free shots for your guests until 11.",
"recipients_count": 12,
"promoter_program_id": "PROGRAM_PUBLIC_ID",
"created_at": "2026-10-06T16:30:00Z"
}
recipients_count is the number of promoters the message reaches. Messages cannot be edited or deleted once sent. A message that reaches nobody, because the program is paused or has no active promoters, returns 422 Unprocessable Entity with { "errors": { "field": ["message"] } }, as do a missing title or body.
Promoters also get a push of their own, without an announcement through the API, when their guest list opens for its next party.
